Charity Donation to Cornwall Cornwall Hospice Care
Cornwall Hospice Care has received a donation of £3447.64 from Treswithian Downs Crematorium.
The charity payment is the second to be made as a result of the doantion from the Memorial Tree & Evening of Carols and Remembrance at Christmas 2015 as well as the proceeds from the recycling of unwanted metal and orthopedic implants which were donated by the next of kin.
Sarah Newton of Cornwall Hospice Care said, 'We appreicate that the families using Treswithian Downs Crematorium have decided to support local charities in this way and are very grateful fo rthe kind donation. The money will be used by Cornwall Hospice Care to continue to provide high quality specialist care 24-hours a day to patients with life limiting illnesses and their loved ones both in our two hospices at St.Julias in Hayle and Mount Edgcumbe in St.Austell and in the wider community.'
